Our entire fleet is covered for theft, so all you have to do is to report the theft to the local police station and you will get a replacement car. In the event that the stolen car is not found within a 3month-period, a new car, with similar characteristics, will be delivered to you.
From the time of order until the delivery of the car, we can provide you with a pre-delivery car. This applies both for companies as well as individuals. Of course, the leasing fee is the same as that agreed in the leasing contract.
A deductible is the amount you agree to pay from your own pocket if you make a claim covered by the car insurance policy. For example, if your deductible is €500 and the accident damage costs €1,500, you will need to pay €500 and the insurance company will pay the remaining amount, i.e. €1,000. In any case, this is the maximum amount you are obliged to pay, even if the accident was your responsibility.
If you are a business or a freelancer, the lease is deducted from your expenses so the VAT is deducted.
In the case of leasing of a VAN as an individual, the lease is deducted from your expenses and the VAT is offset.
If you are an individual, it is not considered as an expense and the VAT is not deducted.
Avis takes care of the whole process regarding the accident (repairs, damages, legal actions e.t.c). The Customer’s sole responsibility is to fill out the Accident Report form, which can easily be found at the My Avis App section on our sitemap.
