Earn kilometers from Avis Leasing, Avis Car Rental, Switch by Avis, and exclusive promotions to climb to the next tier of Avis More.
They are valid for 12 months from the date you earn them or renew your tier. If you collect more than you need, the extra kilometers carry over to your new period and continue counting toward your next upgrade or renewal.
Award kilometers
Earn kilometers through Avis Leasing, Avis Car Rental, Switch by Avis, and special promotions, then redeem them for discounts and complimentary services.
These kilometers are valid for 36 months from the date you earn them, and you may redeem them whenever you choose during that time.

Tier Kilometers determine your tier — Bronze, Silver or Gold. You earn them by using Avis services, and they move you toward the next level.
When you choose to redeem kilometers, your tier kilometers are not affected.
Award Kilometers are the ones you spend on rewards and benefits. Your balance goes down each time you redeem, and each kilometer stays valid for 36 months from the date it was credited to your account.
No. Redeeming only draws down your award kilometers — your tier kilometers and your progress toward the next tier stay untouched.
You are automatically upgraded as soon as you earn the required number of tier miles within the 12-month period.
When that happens:
- only the kilometers needed for the upgrade are deducted
- any extra kilometers carry over and keep counting
- a fresh 12-month period starts from your upgrade date
Collect the required Tier Kilometers within 12 months of reaching or renewing your tier, and it renews for another 12 months.
If you fall short, you move back to the previous tier and a new 12-month period begins.
Your tier kilometers reset to zero when:
- your tier renews for a new period — any kilometers beyond the upgrade threshold remain in your balance and count toward your next upgrade
- you downgrade to a previous tier
Use MyAvis App to access your Avis More profile:
- your current tier
- your progress toward the next upgrade
- your award balance
- your translaction history
If you are a Switch by Avis subscriber, access your Avis More profile through your account on switch.myavis.gr.
Each tier is valid for 12 months from the date it's earned or renewed.
