1. INTRODUCTION – PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM
The loyalty and rewards program "Avis More" (hereinafter the "Program") has been created and is provided by the company under the corporate name "OLYMPIC COMMERCIAL AND TOURISM ENTERPRISES S.A." and the distinctive title "AVIS Greece" (hereinafter "AVIS" and/or the "Company").
The Program constitutes a unified loyalty and rewards program for customers of AVIS mobility services and provides participants (hereinafter the "Members") with the ability to collect and redeem Kilometers (hereinafter also referred to as "KM"), as well as access benefits, offers, and services made available by AVIS and/or cooperating businesses.
The Program may be connected indicatively with:
•long-term vehicle leasing services (Avis Leasing),
•short-term vehicle rental services (Avis Car Rental),
•subscription mobility services (Switch by Avis),
•Pick-Up & Delivery services,
•additional mobility services,
•AVIS digital services,
• as well as other services or partnerships that may be incorporated into the Program at AVIS' discretion.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern:
•participation in the Program,
•the collection and redemption of Kilometers,
•the operation of the loyalty account,
• as well as any benefit or privilege associated with Avis More.
Participation in the Program constitutes the Member's full, unconditional, and continuing acceptance of these Terms, as amended from time to time, as well as any modifications thereto, which shall be communicated through AVIS' official digital channels.
2. DEFINITIONS
For the purposes of these Terms:
"Member" means any natural person who has successfully completed registration in the Program.
"Avis More Account" means the Member's unique loyalty account through which KM, transactions, tiers, and Program benefits are recorded.
"Upgrade Tier Kilometers" means the KM calculated exclusively for tier upgrade or retention purposes.
"Reward Kilometers" means the KM that may be redeemed for rewards and services.
"Benefits" means any benefit, privilege, discount, reward, or service made available through the Program.
"Digital Channels" means the myAVIS App, myavis.gr, Switch by Avis, and any other digital environment supporting the Program.
3. ELIGIBILITY
Only natural persons are eligible to participate in the Program.
Participation in the Program is strictly personal, non-transferable, and non-assignable.
Legal entities, companies, organizations, or other business entities may not participate as Members unless otherwise provided in writing by AVIS.
AVIS reserves the right to accept or reject any application for participation at its sole discretion.
4. PROGRAM REGISTRATION
Registration in the Program may be completed through:
• the MyAvis App,
• myavis.gr,
• clients.myavis.gr,
• Switch by Avis,
• or through other channels made available by AVIS from time to time.
To complete registration, the Member is required:
• to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information,
• to accept these Terms,
• and to accept AVIS' Privacy Policy in force at the relevant time.
AVIS may at any time request:
• verification of information,
• additional proof of identity,
• or updating of account information.
5. IDENTITY VERIFICATION – ACCOUNT MONITORING
AVIS reserves the right to monitor, review, and verify the use of the Program throughout the Member's participation.
The Company may at any time request:
• identification documents,
• proof of address,
• transaction information,
• or any additional information it deems necessary for:
o identity verification,
o fraud prevention,
o Program security,
o or compliance with regulatory obligations.
Failure by the Member to comply with such request may result in:
• temporary account suspension,
• freezing of KM,
• suspension of redemptions,
• or permanent termination of participation.
6. PROGRAM TIERS
The Program includes the following tiers:
• Bronze,
• Silver,
• Gold.
Initial participation begins at the Bronze tier.
Each tier:
• has a duration of twelve (12) months,
• provides different benefits,
• and is subject to different upgrade and retention thresholds.
AVIS reserves the right:
• to modify the tiers,
• the benefits,
• the tier thresholds,
• KM multipliers,
• and the tier retention requirements, at any time.
7. KILOMETERS – GENERAL RULES
KM constitute the Program's reward unit.
KM:
• do not constitute monetary value,
• do not constitute the Member's property,
• are non-transferable,
• may not be sold,
• may not be exchanged for cash,
• may expire following a specified period of inactivity and/or non-qualifying activity, as determined by AVIS from time to time,
• and are not inheritable. In the event of a Member's death, the account shall automatically terminate and any unredeemed KM shall be deleted.
AVIS exclusively determines:
• the collection rules,
• the redemption rules,
• the value,
• the validity period,
• and the availability of KM.
AVIS reserves the right to remove, correct, or cancel KM in the event of:
• technical error,
• accounting error,
• transaction reversal,
• service cancellation,
• fraud,
• abusive use,
• or violation of these Terms.
8. EARNING KILOMETERS
Members may collect KM through eligible transactions or actions determined by AVIS.
Eligible activities may include indicatively:
• vehicle rentals,
• leasing agreements,
• Switch subscriptions,
• online service bookings,
• Pick-Up & Delivery services,
• electronic payments,
• referral of a friend,
• activation of services,
• promotional campaigns,
• bonus actions,
• or other activities communicated by AVIS.
AVIS may modify:
• KM earning ratios,
• eligible transactions,
• bonus,
• reward categories,
• or validity periods, without prior notice.
9. REDEMPTION OF KILOMETERS
Reward KM may be redeemed for benefits and rewards made available through the Program.
Redemption is subject to:
• availability,
• technical limitations,
• specific reward terms,
• and AVIS' applicable commercial policies.
AVIS may at any time:
• modify available rewards,
• suspend redemptions,
• change the KM required,
• or withdraw rewards without prior notice.
10. ABUSIVE OR UNLAWFUL USE
The following are expressly prohibited:
• commercial exploitation of KM,
• sale or transfer thereof,
• use of automated means,
• creation of false accounts,
• manipulation of transactions,
• or any use contrary to good faith and the purpose of the Program.
In the event of a violation, AVIS may, at its sole discretion:
• suspend accounts,
• de-activate accounts that remain inactive for a specified period,
• cancel KM,
• cancel Benefits,
• or permanently exclude the Member from the Program.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
AVIS shall not be liable for:
• technical malfunctions,
• temporary unavailability of digital services,
• loss of data due to force majeure,
• unauthorized access not attributable to its fault,
• or indirect or consequential damages related to the Program.
12. MODIFICATION OR TERMINATION OF THE PROGRAM
AVIS reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time and without prior notice.
AVIS may modify:
• the tiers,
• the benefits,
• the rules governing earning and redemption,
• the validity periods of points,
• or any element of the Program.
Changes shall become effective upon publication through AVIS' official digital channels.
13. PERSONAL DATA
The processing of personal data within the framework of the Avis More Program is carried out in accordance with:
• Greek and European personal data protection legislation,
• and the Avis More Program Privacy Policy.
Participation in the Program requires the processing of data relating to:
• transactions,
• activity within the loyalty program,
• history of point accrual and redemption,
• participation tiers,
• and use of AVIS services.
14. FORCE MAJEURE
AVIS shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations due to force majeure events.
15.GOVERNING LAW – JURISDICTION
These Terms shall be governed by Greek law.
Any dispute arising in connection with the Program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Athens.
